St Mark James CPR Training Courses in Mississauga, Ontario

Mississauga First Aid features CPR “only” programs and courses for individuals that only require cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator training and certification. We feature three different popular CPR courses. The shortest and simplest CPR program is basic life support cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR level “A”). A more comprehensive and longer course is CPR level “C”. The most detailed course designed for individuals that work in the health care industry is CPR level “C” for health care providers (also known as CPR “HCP”). All of these workplace approved programs include education, training and certification in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). The page will briefly outline each of these CPR courses. To register for any CPR course select from the following programs or from the menu. Registration can be completed by email, phone or through this website.

CPR “A” and AED

This course is a 3 to 4 hour course. This course is referred to as CPR level “A” and also as basic life support CPR. In this brief course candidates will learn basic CPR and AED rescue skills for managing adult victims. Successful participants receive a workplace approved CPR level “A” and AED certificate. This certification is valid throughout Canada for 36 months. Re-certification courses are not available for CPR level “A”. No prerequisites are required for this CPR course.

CPR “C” and AED

This course encompasses all of the material from CPR level “A” and includes additional training for rescuing child and infant victims. Participants that successfully pass this program receive a CPR level “C” and AED certificate valid for 36 months. No prerequisites are required for this course. Re-Certification courses are available for individuals that want to renew expiring CPR level “C” awards.
