Near-drowning is defined as a survival event that occurs at least 24 hours following submersion in water which caused respiratory arrest. The most frequent and common consequence of this environmental emergency is hypoxemia. Drowning is the second most common cause of accidental death in children below 12 years of age.

Elbow fractures are quite common in both adults and children. It does not have much protection from muscles or other soft tissues, thus, direct blow to the elbows or falls on a bent elbow can easily lead to fracture. The elbow joint consists of three bones: humerus in the upper arm and radius and ulna in the forearm.

Workplace Approved First Aid Courses

We feature all of the latest and most popular workplace approved first aid programs. Our popular first aid classes include standard, emergency and childcare first aid. Each of these training courses includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. Customers that successfully complete these courses will receive a first aid, CPR and AED certificate which is valid for 3 years. These certificates are valid throughout Canada and meet numerous government, legislative and academic requirements for first aid and CPR training.

Workplace Required CPR Courses

Many customers want or are required to have only CPR certification. We feature workplace and academic CPR “only” programs for individuals that want to only learn CPR skills. All of our featured CPR courses follow the latest standards and techniques and provide candidates with an opportunity to practise the skills on life-like manikins. We offer three different levels of CPR certification which are CPR level “A”, “C” and “HCP”. All stand-alone CPR programs offer automated external defibrillator (AED) training. Workplace Re-Certifications

We are the premier provider of workplace approved re-certification programs in the Mississauga region. These courses are featured for customers that want to keep first aid and /or CPR certificates current and renew expiring ones. We offer several re-certification courses per week. These specific courses are designed for individuals that want to become certified in proper food handling, preparing and storing techniques.
